Stop Bugging Me! is a game I and five other students made in a gamejam over a weekend during the fall of 2023, with the theme bugs. In this game you play as a mosquito who was woken up by the humming of a man and your goal is to annoy him back by buzzing in his ear!

Because of the time restrains of a game jam I tried to make this object's behaviour generic enough to let every object use the same behaviour without modification. I was able to make it where the only thing different between the objects is the sprite by making the shadow just the sprite darkened and slowly becoming more transparent. Then having a animation that just scales up the sprite for the actual hit.
In the game we had 2 different stage hazards, one was a fan where a fan that blows the player towards the man. This was very simple to make, it only applies a velocity to the rigidbody based on the distance to the fan. The second was a clock that slaps down and then sweeps across the screen. Thanks to the generic programming of the other objects that is thrown I could just use the same behaviour then add a new behaviour that moves it around.
I made tool that let my designers split up the screen into different zones based on how close they where to the man's ear. These zones had multiple uses mainly they were used to give the player a score multiplier based on which zone they were in, with the zones closer to the man having a larger multiplier. These zones also had different likelihoods that objectives would spawn in them with ones again the closer zones being more likely
